I have a HP media Center M7640N Desktop. Is it any harder because everything is integrated or can I just pull it right out and plug in a better Geforce card?

The motherboard you can turn it off in hardware and use pci card.

I would disable the on-board card from the bias.
I have done a similar upgrade. It didn’t work until I disabled the integrated hardware.
It was complaining about some kind of “Resource conflict”
